Nagabhushana, a Kannada actor, is currently managing dual aspects of his career - one as a lead actor and the other as a character or supporting actor. Starting from humble beginnings in the Kannada film industry, he emphasizes the importance of proving one's talent before landing substantial roles. Reflecting on his journey, Nagabhushana highlights the significance of a film's commercial success in an actor's growth. His career took a major turn with hits like "Ikkat" and "Badava Rascal," where he played diverse roles. Last year, his involvement in successful films like "Daredevil Musthafa," "Kousalya Supraja Rama," and "Tagaru Palya" further boosted his confidence. Nagabhushana opts to be viewed as an actor who excels in comedy, rather than just a comedian, as it allows him more creative freedom. While he respects the script, he also injects a bit of his personality into the roles to make his performances natural and engaging.I didn't work for the film, neither did they. It's crucial for us to understand when to take action and when to hold back. For example, in Badava Rascal, my role simply required me to be myself, while in Ikkat, a more exaggerated acting approach was necessary. Currently, all my focus is on my upcoming project, Vidyapati, in which I play the lead. It's a significant film for me with high stakes, but I believe in the story and I'm confident that it will entertain the audience with its surprises. Additionally, I have a supporting role in Anna From Mexico which allows me to showcase a different side of my acting abilities. Despite being extremely busy lately, I am grateful for the opportunities coming my way, especially after getting married earlier this year. Previously, as a bachelor, I had no one waiting for me at home, but now I know someone is eagerly anticipating my return after work.
